Which is a shame because there is a nice outdoor area behind the hotel with benches but unless you propped the door you had to walk all the way around to get back in. There are other doors with card readers but they won't let you back in, so either they are not working or they disabled them for some reason. What I found really annoying that the only way to get into the hotel was from the front. I had a kind smoking room and it did have 2 comfortable chairs with a worn table in between them. There was not a book listing hotel amenities nor was there a bible in the drawer (not that I wanted to read one just noted it).
My room did have a mini fridge but no microwave. I did find it a little gross that the coffee maker and ice bucket was in the bathroom. The floor is very slick after you shower so be careful and if you forget to put the mat in the shower like I did the first time its like standing on melting ice. The toilet would run whenever and there was no vent fan in the bathroom. when I turned the water on more water ran down behind the handle than seemed to hit the shower head. The room was warm and when I tried to turn down the temp it didn't seem to have much effect the fan for the unit barely had any airflow. They were following the covid guidlines for the most part. It I think has the smallest gaming floor of all the casinos in the area.
This Sams town doesn't really compare to the one in Vegas.
